Nova Scotia Invites Pharmacists & Pharmacy Technicians via Immigration Pilot

Nova Scotia has extended Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to participate in the Healthcare Professionals Immigration Pilot. Individuals who received a Letter of Interest from Nova Scotia in their Express Entry profile on August 28, 2024, are eligible to apply for permanent residency through this specialized program.

Healthcare Professionals Immigration Pilot

The Healthcare Professionals Immigration Pilot offers a unique pathway to permanent residency for qualified healthcare professionals. However, it's important to note that this program operates outside of the regular Express Entry system. As a result, participants will not receive the additional 600 points typically associated with Express Entry profiles.

Survey Links

Nova Scotia has shared survey links with applicants. Completing these surveys allows you to express your interest in working as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician in the province. This process is facilitated by the Nova Scotia Office of Healthcare Professionals Recruitment, the Pharmacy Association of Nova Scotia, and the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists. Your survey responses will be shared with potential employers in the healthcare sector.

  • Pharmacists (NOC 31120)
  • Pharmacy Technicians (NOC 32124)

If you are a healthcare professional who did not receive a Letter of Interest on August 28, 2024, please explore other immigration programs or streams that may align with your qualifications and goals.
