Nova Scotia Holds NSNP draw to invite Francophone candidates

After a long time, Nova Scotia finally held the draw for Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) to invite candidates with French as their first official language. The Nova Scotia PNP held the draw for Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities stream on November 7, 2022.

In this draw, NSNP issued the Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination, to the candidates:

  • Who had French as their first official language (CLB 10) and English as secondary language (CLB 7)
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree OR have completed a program of three or more years at a university, college, trade or technical school, etc.

Latest NSNP Draw Criteria

Find below the eligibility criteria for 7 November NSNP draw. Candidates need to:

  • Have chosen French as their first official language and have a CLB score of 10 or higher in French in all four-language abilities.
  • Have English as a second official language with a CLB score of 7 or higher in English in all language abilities.
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree OR have completed a program of 3 or more years at a university, college, trade or technical school, etc.
  • Comprise copies of both language tests and proof of education with your application. Proof of education must include an ECA report issued by an organization designated by IRCC, if your educational credential was obtained outside of Canada.
  • Apply no later than 11:59 p.m. December 7, 2022.

Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities

Nova Scotia Labour Market Priorities stream of Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) choose the applicants in the federal Express Entry system who fulfil provincial labour market requirements to apply for nomination. Only applicants who get a LOI (Letter of Interest) from the Nova Scotia Office of Immigration can apply.
