Ontario Invites 1,656 candidates for skilled trades & Foreign Worker stream in Opening draws of 2023

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has started the New Year 2023 with the fresh invitations issued for its key streams, i.e. Express Entry Skilled Trades stream and Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream. Ontario has conducted Targeted draws on 10 and 13 January 2023 to invite the Skilled Trades occupations and Economic Mobility Pathways Project candidates.

Targeted Draw for Ontario’s Express Entry Skilled Trades stream

On January 13, 2023, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued targeted Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to apply for provincial nomination to candidates who may be eligible for OINP- Express Entry Skilled Trades stream. Candidates with comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score of 336-506 only received the NOIs in this invitation round.

On January 10, 2023 only, the OINP also issued 2 targeted ITAs to candidates who may be eligible for the federal Economic Mobility Pathways Project under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream.
