In the latest draw of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) opened on August 6, 2021, Ontario issued a targeted invitation to apply to a candidate, who may be eligible for the federal Economic Mobility Pathways Project under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream.

The Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream
The Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream is an immigration stream under the Ontario PNP.It gives overseas workers with an employment offer in a skilled occupation at Skill Type 0, Skill Level A, or B of the NOI (National Occupational Classification) a chance to apply for a nomination from the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) to live and work in Ontario permanently.This stream is open to overseas workers in and outside of Canada.

Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot
The IRCC (Immigration Refugees, and Citizenship Canada) launched the Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP) in April 2018.The EMPP aims to identify nearly 10 to 15 skilled refugees in the Middle East and East Africa who fulfil the requirements of economic immigration programs of the maple leaf country. Refugee applicants, who seemed to have strong economic settlement capability, were referred to participating jurisdictions for a possible nomination under existing PNP or to apply under a federal economic program, i.e.AIP (Atlantic Immigration Pilot).
