Ontario PNP has announced a new Entrepreneur pilot Administered by TBDC

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has announced a launch of new Entrepreneur Pilot. Toronto Business Development Centre (TBDC) is administering this new pilot, i.e. OINP Entrepreneur Success Initiative (OINP-ESI). 

As part of the 2021 Ontario Economic Outlook and Fiscal Review: Build Ontario, the pilot will help 100 immigrant entrepreneurs to setup and grow businesses across the province outside of the Greater Toronto Area.

OINP Entrepreneur Success Initiative (OINP-ESI)

The OINP allows overseas workers, foreign students, etc. with the appropriate skills, experience and qualification — to apply for a nomination for PR (Permanent Residence) in the province of Ontario, Canada.

• Ontario PNP- Entrepreneur Stream is for overseas entrepreneurs, who want to setup a new business, or buy and develop an existing business, in Ontario.
• The OINP Entrepreneur Success Initiative OINP-ESI will help potential immigrant entrepreneurs grow and submit applications to the Entrepreneur Stream.
• The target of the initiative is to attract and support 100 new applications.

The TBDC will manage the OINP Entrepreneur Success Initiative OINP-ESI for 2 years.

Aims and Objectives of OINP-ESI

The OINP Entrepreneur Success Initiative OINP-ESI plans to offer services that:

• Recognise business creation and succession prospects in communities outside the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
• Market the Entrepreneur Stream and business prospects globally to raise awareness among entrepreneurs
• Support capable entrepreneurs who want to setup a new business or buy and grow an existing business in communities outside of the GTA
• Match qualified entrepreneurs with business prospects and communities, based on their business, personal interests and professional experience
• Help qualified entrepreneurs grow and submit high-quality expressions of interest (EOI) to the Entrepreneur Stream
• help EOI registrants who get an Invitation to Apply (ITA), grow and submit high-quality applications to the Entrepreneur Stream

The Ontario PNP will process applications on a priority basis.
