Ontario removes Maximum CRS Score Range in the latest Ontario PNP draw

Ontario held two draws of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) on 22 February 2022. In the first draw, the OINP issued 773 NOIs (Notifications of Interest) to apply for provincial nomination under Express Entry- HCP (Human Capital Priorities) stream of Ontario PNP. Moreover, second draw it opened for the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream of OINP. Find out more details.

OINP- Human Capital Priorities Stream draw

Ontario invited 773 candidates in the HCP stream draw with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score range of 455-600 points. The upper range of CRS score is 600 points, which is the maximum points an Express Entry applicant can obtain (without PNP nomination). In other words, Ontario has removed the maximum CRS score range for this draw.

Hence, since there is no upper CRS limit in this daw, therefore, any candidate with CRS score 455 points or above can apply, while earlier candidates with score more than upper limit were not eligible to apply.

Occupations Targeted in HCP stream draw

In this HCP draw, Ontario targeted candidates with a CRS score between 455 and 600 and work experience in the following National Occupational Classification (NOC) Occupations:

• NOC 0114 – Other administrative services managers
• NOC 0122 – Banking, credit and other investment managers
• NOC 0124 – Advertising, marketing and public relations managers
• NOC 0125 – Other business services managers
• NOC 0211 – Engineering managers
• NOC 0311 – Managers in health care
• NOC 0601 – Corporate sales managers
• NOC 0631 – Restaurant and food service managers
• NOC 0711 – Construction managers
• NOC 0731 – Managers in transportation
• NOC 0911 – Manufacturing managers
• NOC 1121 – Human resources professionals
• NOC 1122 – Professional occupations in business management consulting
• NOC 2161 – Mathematicians, statisticians and actuaries
• NOC 3012 – Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
• NOC 3211 – Medical laboratory technologists
• NOC 3231 – Opticians
• NOC 3233 – Licensed practical nurses

• got a notification of interest on February 22, 2022
• can show that your work experience was in one of the eligible NOC codes listed above

OINP Draw for Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream

In the second targeted draw, Ontario issued NOIs (Notifications of Interest) to apply for provincial nomination under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream to the candidates of the Economic Mobility Pathways Project (EMPP).

The OINP invited 8 targeted candidates, who may be eligible for the federal Economic Mobility Pathways Project under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream.
