Ontario PNP invites International students & Foreign Workers under Employer Job Offer stream

OINP Draws for International Students and Foreign workers

In 20th October draws, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) invited total 546 candidates under three main streams, i.e. Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream, Masters Graduate stream and PhD Graduate stream.

Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream 

The OINP issued 4 targeted invitations to apply to the applicants who may be eligible for the federal Economic Mobility Pathways Project under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream. You can apply to these streams if you received an ITA on October 20, 2021.

 The OINP also issued ITAs (Invitations to Apply) to the candidates in the Expression of Interest (EOI) pool, who may be eligible for the Masters Graduate and PhD Graduate streams. Under Masters graduate stream 479 candidates with a point score range of 35 and above received the invitation.

Important points for Masters Graduate applicants

To avoid delays with the processing of the applications, students are advised to make certain that they provide the below things to support each scoring factor for which they received points in respective Expression of Interest (EOI):

Canadian work experience: NOC skill level

• Job/work experience reference letter(s) from Canadian employer(s) with description of job duties
• Apart from the essential employment/work experience reference letter(s), you may also submit supporting documents that define your duties and responsibilities comprising job descriptions, performance assessments and job advertisements.

Canadian work experience: duration

• Job/work experience reference letter(s) from Canadian employer(s) charting dates of employment and hours worked per week
  • full-time work experience means working in a job with minimum 30 hours of paid work in a week that amounts to at least 1,560 hours of paid work in 1 year
  • part-time comparable work experience means:
    • working in one job for minimum 15 hours per week, for 2 years that amounts to minimum 1,560 hours in that two-year period, or
    • working in more than one job for minimum 30 hours per week, for 1 year, that amounts to minimum 1,560 hours of paid work in that 1 year period

Canadian education experience

• any other Canadian degree(s), diploma(s) or certificate(s) that you have completed

Proficiency level in official languages

• any other language test(s) obtained within the last 2 years from a recognized language testing agency (IELTS, CELPIP, TEF Canada, TCF Canada)

To lessen processing times, please only upload documentation that is appropriate to program parameters and the scoring factors listed in your EOI.

If you are not able to provide a required document due to exceptional conditions beyond your control, please provide a detailed explanation letter when you submit your application.
