Ontario to Accept 100 new Entrepreneurs under its new Entrepreneur Pilot Program

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has announced to launch a two-year pilot program in order to invite 100 new Entrepreneurs in the province of Ontario, Canada. The Ontario PNP will work together with TBDC (Toronto Business Development Centre) to launch and develop this pilot program.

The OINP is one of the most popular Canadian Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) that invite, assess and nominate the deserving skilled and talented people for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) Visa. This new pilot of the province likely to be equally popular.

Ontario PNP- New Entrepreneur Pilot

The province has announced the new Entrepreneur pilot as part of the 2021 Ontario Economic Outlook and Fiscal Review: Build which plans to welcome 100 immigrant entrepreneurs to setup and grow businesses across the province outside of the Greater Toronto Area.

The employment and investments these businesses produce will help to support soon to be selected regions requiring the most help recovering from COVID?19. Both OINP and TBDC is working in coordination to develop this pilot as they identified the same via a publicly posted competitive request for bids.

OINP will publish names of people facing Administrative monetary penalty

The OINP recently announced that from May 3, 2022 it would publish the names of individuals, employers and representatives who faced an administrative monetary penalty or banning order executed against them for contravening the Ontario Immigration Act, 2015.
