The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has received its nomination allocation for the year 2022. The OINP is going to nominate an increased number of candidates in 2022 compare to the last year, i.e. 2021.
In 2021, Ontario issued total 9,000 nominations to successful candidates across all streams, including 400 extra nominations received via an in-year reallocation and 250 NOC- skill level C nominations. Find out more about OINP and its 2022 allocation.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) an active Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) of Canada. Ontario PNP has received its 2022 nomination allocation from the federal government. The 2022 allocation of Ontario PNP is 9,750 nominations, which is 8.4 percent higher than total nominations issued by the province last year.

Annual Ontario PNP nominations
Every year Canadian government, through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) allocates a definite number of nominations to the OINP. As of June 28, 2022, Ontario has issued 4,374 nominations through Ontario PNP.
A candidate once nominated for PR visa by the OINP, s/he must then apply to IRCC, which in turn makes the final decision as to who gets permanent residence.
