Prince Edward Island PNP Draw on 16 November- PEI issued 141 invitations

Prince Edward Island extended invitations to immigration candidates in the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) draw occurred on November 16, 2023. As a prominent Atlantic province of Canada, Prince Edward Island conducted the draw for its Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP), inviting a total of 141 candidates from the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur, Labour, and Express Entry streams. PEI PNP Draw - November 16, 2023

In this latest immigration invitation round, Prince Edward Island issued a total of 134 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for provincial nomination. These ITAs were specifically allocated to applicants in the Labour and Express Entry categories who were registered in the system. Critical Worker and Express Entry ITAs were granted to individuals employed by a PEI employer with a minimum Expression of Interest (EOI) score of 55.

After the most recent draw, the PEI PNP has extended invitations to a total of 2,324 candidates to apply for provincial nomination this year through a total of 20 immigration draws held to date.  

The PEI Expression of Interest (EOI) system gathers crucial details about individuals to effectively prioritize and choose applicants who are best suited to fulfil the economic and labour market requirements of Prince Edward Island. This selection is based on various attributes, covering:

• Language proficiency in English or French.
• Educational background, including the level, field of study, and the location where education was completed.
• Skill and work experience levels.
• Alignment with strategic priorities, focusing on attributes that directly address the immediate labour market needs in PEI.
• Other pertinent factors related to employment prospects, such as holding a job offer in PEI and/or possessing previous Canadian work experience.
