17 February PEI PNP draw- Prince Edward Island invites 123 candidates

Prince Edward Island conducted the scheduled February draw of PEI PNP (Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program) on February 17, 2022 to invite 123 candidates to apply for provincial nomination. Prince Edward Island is one of eastern Canada's Maritime Provinces, it invite the skilled and talented people through periodic invitation rounds of its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), i.e. PEI PNP.

In this latest draw, PEI invited 6 candidates under Business Work permit Entrepreneur stream with a minimum point threshold of 17 points. Moreover, 117 candidates received Invitation to Apply (ITA) under Labour & Express Entry stream.

Overall, the province has invited 255 candidates this year in two scheduled monthly invitation rounds took place in January and February month.

Prince Edwards Island PNP

The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) invite the candidates to apply for provincial nomination under is two main categories, i.e.

• Business Work Permit Entrepreneur and
• Labour and Express Entry

The express entry stream of the PEI PNP helps the candidates with low CRS score (in Express Entry System) to acquire the additional 600 CRS points through provincial nomination.

Needless to mention that such massive addition of Express Entry points, makes an applicant eligible to get the Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian PR (Permanent Resident) Visa from IRCC (Immigration Refugees, and Citizenship Canada) in an upcoming  Express Entry draw.
