Program-Specific Express Entry draw- IRCC Invites 635 PNP Candidates

In the latest Express Entry draw held on September 1, 2021, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 635 PNP candidates. It was a program-specific invitation round for candidates with a provincial nomination.

All those who have obtained invitations can now apply for a Canadian permanent residence (PR) visa. All the invited applicants must submit their electronic Application for Permanent Residence (eAPR), supporting documents and application fees within 60 days.

So far, in 2021, the IRCC has issued a total of 106,414 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) through program-specific Express Entry draws. With regular EE invitations rounds, the IRCC is likely to meet or even exceed its annual target of welcoming 108,500 newcomers via the Federal Express Entry system in 2021.
