Saskatchewan has updated the Application processing time for SINP

On April 19, 2024, Saskatchewan updated the processing times for various streams within the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). The processing time of SINP undergoes revision on a quarterly basis, occurring every 3 months. This timeframe reflects the average duration taken to process an application during that specific quarter.

The processing duration is quantified in weeks for each category. It's essential to note that processing times are subject to change and may not consistently forecast the timeframe for future applications.

SINP Application processing times in 1st Quarter of 2024

Based on the latest data, for the initial quarter of 2024 (spanning from January 1 to March 31, 2024), the processing times are outlined as follows:

International Skilled Worker

Saskatchewan aims to complete the processing of all International Skilled Worker and Saskatchewan Experience applications within a 16-week timeframe. In order to initiate the processing of an application, the province require all necessary information and supporting documents to be provided.

Entrepreneur and Farm

Saskatchewan’s objective is to handle all Entrepreneur and Farm applications (which also encompass Entrepreneur Nomination requests) within a span of 12 weeks. Similarly, it aim to address all Good Faith Deposit Return requests within a timeframe of 24 weeks.

Job Approval Process

The SINP Job Approval Letter is a pre-approved authorization for an employer to hire a foreign worker through the SINP. The SINP will assess each Job Approval Form to see if the job meets SINP criteria. The goal is to process Job Approval Forms within six weeks. To process an application, SINP must have all information and supporting documents.
