CRS Score likely to drop for Upcoming Category-Based Express Entry Draws

As Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) gears up for the upcoming category-based Express Entry draws, it's anticipated that the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) may decrease. This potential decline is attributed to the targeted nature of these draws, which focus on specific occupations and French-speaking candidates. By prioritizing certain categories, IRCC can invite candidates with lower CRS scores but who meet the specific criteria, thereby expanding the pool of eligible individuals.
