Australian state of Western Australia (WA) has issued record 5,006 ITAs (Invitations to Apply) for State Nominated Migration Program (SNMP) on 16 December 2022. The WA has issued these nomination invitations for key GSM visa categories, i.e. Skilled Nominated Visa Subclass 190 and Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa Subclass 491. Find out more.
Latest WA Invitation Round for State Nomination
The Western Australia usually issue state nomination invitations every month. The number of ITAs issued every month may vary based on the number of applications WA Migration Services are processing. In this latest round, WA has issued 2,365 state nomination invitations for Subclass 190 visa, while the state has issued 2,641 ITAs for Subclass 491 visa candidates.

WA Selection System
State of Western Australia (WA) select a set number of EOIs every month from SkillSelect to issue an ITA for State nomination. In case an applicant has received an invitation, WA Migration Services will contact him/her providing the relevant link to the State nomination-application form.
Australian states have eased their eligibility criteria, following the drop in minimum score requirement (i.e. just 65 points in latest rounds) by the Department of Home Affairs (DHA), Australia in SkillSelect invitation round. As a result, both federal and state governments of Australia are inviting increased number immigration invitations to foreign skilled worker applicants.
