To be able to apply as Teacher participant must:-

• Have teaching qualification in primary or secondary schools in their country of origin.
• Have a minimum of three years of teaching or related professional experience.
• Satisfy the standards of the U.S. state in which they will teach.
• Have good health and moral character.
• Be seeking to enter the United States for the purpose of full-time teaching at a primary or secondary accredited educational institution in the United States
• Have proficient English skills.

To be eligible as sponsor you should:-

• Screen and select the students who want to learn and contribute towards the education system in America.
• Monitor the stay of visitors under J visa to ensure that they are performing their teaching responsibilities and participating in cross cultural programs.
• Provide information regarding the location of the program, A summary of the significant components of the program, including a written statement of the teaching requirements and related professional obligations, A written statement that clearly indicates the compensation package to be provided to the exchange visitor teacher and any other financial arrangements relevant to the program.
